Mitch Walker
The most interesting fact about me is probably that I am married to a SkyeWalker. It was initially a big gamble on my part, choosing a wife based off her future potential name. It paid off. Our family also includes 3 children, Madi, Milo, and Mitena.
I was a secondary English/History teacher by trade. I was blessed to work in Christian education, which gave me a love of sharing the gospel. To that end, I am currently working at St Michael’s Anglican Church in Wollongong, NSW.
I am blessed to be surrounded by good teaching and faithful people. I take in a lot of good content, this is my attempt to make something. To create, rather than critique.
I write hoping to encourage others, but also because I want to. In trying to write better, I hope to be better equipped to articulate my faith. Ultimately, I hope to write as a means of worship (1Cor10:31).
The title, ‘beyond trivial’, simply reflects my hope to think and write about things that are meaningful in some small way.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer”
